User Data Deletion

At IDeliver, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you would like to delete your account and all associated data, you can do so by following the instructions below.

What data will be deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone number, profile photo)
  • Saved addresses and delivery preferences
  • Order history and transaction records
  • Payment method details
  • In-app messages and support conversations
  • Push notification tokens and device identifiers
  • Location history and tracking data

What data may be retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Financial transaction records (retained for up to 7 years for tax and regulatory compliance)
  • Data required for ongoing legal proceedings or disputes
  • Anonymized and aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you

How to request data deletion

You can request deletion of your data using any of the following methods:

Option 1: In-App Deletion

  1. Open the IDeliver app on your device
  2. Go to Profile → Settings
  3. Tap Delete My Account
  4. Confirm your identity via OTP verification
  5. Your account and data will be scheduled for permanent deletion

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to privacy@ideliver.ng with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the phone number or email address associated with your account.

Option 3: WhatsApp Support

Message our support team on WhatsApp and request account deletion. Our team will verify your identity and process the request.

Processing time

Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email or SMS once your data has been permanently deleted.

During the processing period, your account will be immediately deactivated and you will no longer be able to access IDeliver services.
